Early Help
The term Early Help is used to describe the process of taking action early and as soon as possible to tackle problems emerging for children, young people and their families.
Effective help can occur at any point in a child or young person's life.
We encourage our families to come in and talk to us as soon as they are worried about any such problems. We have a 'Nurture Team' within our school who can help you to find the appropriate level of support. It may be something that can be done informally within school or it might be sign-posting you to outside agencies such as the Early Help Service at Bedford Borough (see details below).

Early Help Service, Bedford Borough
The new Early Help Service comprises of the following teams:
- Family Focus Service
- Inclusion Support Team
- Education Welfare Service
- Education Support for 14 - 19
- Family Information Service
- Early Years Team
- Early Help Coordination
- Early Help Team
- Triple P Positive Parenting Programme
The Early Help Team comprises of six Early Help Professionals (EHPs) attached to school cluster localities.
