Friday 8th January Dojo message:

Good afternoon everyone,

I just wanted to finish the week with a positive message to you all after what has been something of a roller-coaster.

Thank you so much for your patience and positivity this week. I know there have been a few technical glitches with the home/school learning, but I think we're almost there. The staff at school have been working incredibly hard trying to get it right so I wanted to let you know and to thank them too. They have been overwhelmed by the levels of engagement from you all and they are very appreciative of the messages of support you have sent their way, it really does make a difference when they read a lovely comment or see how well a child has responded to their work.

We know how difficult it is for you too, whether you are tackling remote learning, working from home, sending your child to school because you are a key worker or a combination of the above; it's incredibly difficult but we are right behind you.

Please let us know if we can do anything to help you. I hope to have some more news next week about a couple of new initiatives we're starting shortly which will hopefully make life a little easier for you too.

Best wishes

Mrs Ward

COVID message sent via Class Dojo: 4-01-2021

Good evening everyone,
Following on from the announcement by the Prime Minister of a national lockdown, from tomorrow, school will unfortunately be open for children of Key Workers and vulnerable pupils only.
We currently have sufficient space for those of you who have notified us that you are a key worker and require a place. This may change if demand increases or if we are struggling to provide adequate staffing.
For tomorrow only, drop off and collect your child at the usual staggered times. Breakfast and after school club will be available tomorrow but we will be reviewing whether this will continue and let you know as soon as possible. After tomorrow we will also amend future start and finish times but will provide more information in the morning.
Teachers will be in touch tomorrow morning via class dojo about home learning.
Thank you for your continued support I am so sorry that we were unable to keep the school open to everyone. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need to do so.

Best wishes

Mrs Ward
