At Renhold VC Primary School, we view Mathematics as a tool for everyday life; a network of numerical skills, concepts and relationships which provide a way of viewing and making sense of the world. All staff recognise that it is their responsibility to design and deliver a high-quality Mathematics education that builds confident, competent, resilient and curious mathematicians who are equipped for understanding the world around them. We foster young minds to be able to confidently tackle a range of practical tasks and real-life problems through making connections between concepts and reasoning mathematically. We have a commitment to high achievement in mathematics by children regardless of their gender, race, class or disability.
